Job Overview: A law firm in Austin, TX, is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation, possess excellent communication skills, and be licensed and in good standing with the TX State Bar.

Duties:

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other involved parties
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
  • Lead mediations and negotiate settlements
  • Develop comprehensive case strategies
  • Represent clients in court and take cases to trial when necessary

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation
  • Licensed and in good standing with the TX State Bar
  • Experience drafting and responding to motions
  • Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas
