Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney

A law firm in East Palo Alto is seeking a Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The ideal candidate will possess superior writing, research, and analytical skills, along with the ability to handle a multi-matter docket effectively.

Job Duties:

• Experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation is highly preferred.
• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
• Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; participating in digital/virtual conference calls; participating in meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Previous federal clerkship is a plus.
• Class action experience is preferred.
• Superior writing skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
