A law firm in Lincoln, NE, is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 3+ years of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with education and/or experience in the areas of Family Law. The candidate must be licensed in the State of Nebraska.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence cases.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on family law issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and agreements.
  • Advocate for clients in negotiations, mediation sessions, and court proceedings.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on family law matters.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and preparation.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and trust throughout the legal process.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience practicing law.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Nebraska.
  • Education and/or experience in Family Law preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Nebraska family law statutes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
