Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team in the Los Angeles Area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, representing clients in court, and providing legal counsel. This is a full-time, on-site position, with the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including personal injury, real estate disputes, mold intoxication, habitability issues, employment law, and complex civil litigation.

Location:

Duties:

  • Manage case files, ensuring proper documentation and organization.

  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and litigation.

  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

  • Represent clients in court, including trial preparation and appearances.

  • Attend hearings, depositions, and client meetings.

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.

  • Collaborate with team members to manage caseload and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Licensed to practice law in California.

  • Strong experience in legal research, writing, and drafting legal documents.

  • Experience in managing case files and representing clients in court.

  • Ability to prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and depositions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
