A law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Of Counsel with the following responsibilities, requirements, and qualifications:

Job Overview:

The Employment Litigation Of Counsel will defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad spectrum of employment-related claims and agency charges. Additionally, they will provide guidance, counsel, and training to employers on various employment and labor law matters.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits encompassing various employment-related claims and agency charges.
• Offer advice, counsel, and training to employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in various legal settings, including courtrooms, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations, particularly in matters involving class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour disputes, contracts, employment torts, and non-compete cases.
• Preference is given to candidates with Class Action/PAGA experience.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
• Minimum of 9+ years of experience in employment litigation, with substantial experience managing and leading litigation cases in a first-chair capacity.
• Current California Bar admission is in good standing.
• Prior supervisory experience, including overseeing associate and paralegal work, delegating assignments, and providing constructive feedback.
• Comprehensive understanding of current agency procedures at both state and federal levels.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management abilities.
• Dedication to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.
