A law firm seeks a Managed Care Staff Attorney in Chicago, IL.

Job Overview:

The Managed Care Staff Attorney will support litigation matters through legal research and preparing various legal documents. The ideal candidate must possess a basic understanding of federal and state court practices and must be licensed to practice law in Illinois.

Responsibilities:

  • Support litigation matters by conducting legal research.
  • Prepare pleadings, memoranda, and other written documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of answers, discovery, and dispositive motions.
  • Manage cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of federal and state court practice.
  • Experience preparing answers, discovery, and dispositive motions.
  • Case management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois.
  • Good standing with the State Bar of Illinois.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Illinois.
