The attorney should be familiar with agencies such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, bank regulatory bodies, or state attorney general offices.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in financial services enforcement and litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to bank regulatory and nonbank financial institution investigations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop legal strategies.
  • Provide advice on regulatory compliance and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in financial services enforcement/litigation.
  • J.D. from a nationally recognized law school with a high level of academic achievement.
  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Strong understanding of bank regulatory and nonbank financial institution matters.
  • Familiarity with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, or state attorney general offices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
