Job Overview:

A highly regarded law firm is seeking an attorney with 1 to 4 years of experience in employment litigation and counseling. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile litigation and provide strategic advice to corporate clients on employment-related matters. The firm is committed to providing early responsibility, advancement opportunities, and significant client interaction.

Location:

  • Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including:

    • Discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination claims

    • Wage and hour disputes, including class action and PAGA cases

  • Advise corporate clients on employment policies, manuals, and compliance matters

  • Counsel clients on employee discipline, terminations, and wage and hour issues

  • Conduct internal investigations on sensitive employment matters

  • Manage litigation responsibilities, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

  • Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as required

Requirements:

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in employment litigation and counseling

  • Familiarity with California civil procedure and employment laws

  • Experience handling class actions and/or PAGA cases is a plus but not required

  • Ability to manage cases and work independently with minimal supervision

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Strong academic record, preferably from a top-tier law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California Bar (Required)

Skills:

  • Exceptional litigation and legal writing skills

  • Strong research and analytical abilities

  • Ability to provide strategic counsel on employment law matters

  • Effective communication and client management skills

  • Ability to handle high-profile and complex cases with professionalism
