The successful candidate will be responsible for defending and litigating various employment-related claims and agency charges, providing legal counsel to employers, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws.

Duties:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits encompassing a diverse range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
  • Represent employers in various legal settings, including court proceedings, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations, focusing on class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.
  • Provide expert advice and counsel to employers regarding labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a strong background in employment law preferred.
  • Active admission to the Georgia Bar or the ability to obtain admission promptly.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current court procedures and employment-related agency protocols (both state and federal).
