Duties

  • Manage account liquidations and legal processes.
  • Provide high-quality legal representation, treating customers with fairness and respect.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Handle a high volume caseload and provide expert analysis on legal and regulatory risks.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve final case resolution.
  • Travel to various courts within North Carolina for legal proceedings and court hearings.
  • Work with the managing attorney to report all activity and results.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school with an active license to practice law in NC.
  • A license to practice law in other states in the firm's footprint (GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, OH) or UBE passage is a plus.
  • Skilled in analyzing case law and providing recommendations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
