Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Newport Beach, CA, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will report directly to one of the partners and will handle administrative, marketing, pre-litigation, litigation, and related activities in personal injury law.

Duties:

• Manage and handle Plaintiff contingency cases efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct thorough investigations into personal injury claims, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and assessing damages.
• Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies and other parties involved in the case.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the claims process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.
• Experience practicing personal injury law, focusing on Plaintiff contingency cases.
• Proven track record of successfully handling personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents about personal injury litigation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Certification in Personal Injury Law by the State Bar of California or a recognized legal organization.
• Completion of continuing legal education courses related to personal injury litigation.
