Job Overview: The eDiscovery Attorney will be responsible for managing eDiscovery processes, utilizing various review platforms and analytics tools, advising stakeholders on eDiscovery issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The role also involves serving as a subject matter expert, implementing custom workflows, and continuously improving eDiscovery policies and procedures.

Duties:

  • Manage eDiscovery in complex litigations and investigations
  • Utilize eDiscovery review platforms and analytics tools such as Relativity, Recommind, TAR, and predictive coding
  • Handle data processing and document processing
  • Advise legal, compliance, and investigation stakeholders on eDiscovery issues and strategies
  • Work with eDiscovery processes and technologies and their interrelation with other disciplines
  • Identify and escalate improvements to eDiscovery policies and procedures
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and assist with onboarding and training of new and existing customers
  • Implement custom workflows to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence
  • Create and refine standard documentation, including ESI protocols, Protective Orders, review protocols, training guides, and review workflows

Requirements:

  • JD degree
  • Ideally, 5 years of experience managing eDiscovery in complex litigations and investigations
  • Admission to the Bar (any state)
  • Strong understanding of current eDiscovery law and jurisprudence
  • Demonstrated understanding of eDiscovery practices and technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion
  • Proven ability to identify continuous improvements in policies and processes

Education and Certifications:

  • JD degree
  • Admission to the Bar (any state)

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of eDiscovery processes and technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Relativity, Recommind, and other eDiscovery review platforms
