Job Overview

A reputable law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a skilled Securities Attorney with extensive experience managing structured securities offerings. This role focuses on commercial real estate transactions, including real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The position is a professional track (non-partnership) opportunity within the Investment Funds Group, offering an engaging and dynamic legal environment.

Duties

  • Manage structured securities offerings with a focus on commercial real estate transactions.
  • Represent public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and financings.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements, contracts, and legal documents related to investment funds.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance on securities law.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate transactions.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations governing securities and real estate investments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience handling structured securities offerings.
  • Strong background in commercial real estate law, finance, and transactions.
  • Prior experience at an AmLaw 100 firm is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex transactions with precision and efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in Delaware.
