Job Overview:

The Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney will focus on commercial real estate transactions, including documenting and closing acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leases. This role requires 2-4 years of commercial real estate law experience and a strong academic background, with admission to the Illinois Bar.

 

Duties:

  • Documenting and closing commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Handling office, retail, and industrial leasing matters, with potential experience in development and ground leasing considered a plus.
  • Conducting legal research, due diligence, and title review for real estate transactions.
  • Drafting and negotiating transactional documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Providing legal counsel and support to clients on real estate matters, including regulatory compliance and risk assessment.
  • Collaborating with other attorneys and stakeholders within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of commercial real estate law experience.
  • Strong understanding of real estate finance, leasing, and transactional matters.
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Illinois Bar or eligibility for admission in good standing.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in Illinois.
