A law firm in Chicago is actively seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, superior drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to handle significant project responsibilities. Big firm experience is preferred, and admission to the Illinois Bar is preferred.

 

Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Work on real estate finance matters, negotiating financing agreements.
  • Assist with joint ventures involving real estate projects.
  • Provide legal advice on real estate development projects.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure successful project completion.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Illinois Bar is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Superior drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to take on significant project responsibility.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
