Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced mid-to-senior level associate to join its Business & Technology team as a Securities Law Attorney. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse range of securities matters, including SEC filings, public and private securities offerings, and compliance issues. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in securities law, with a strong focus on SEC reporting and filings. Duties:

  • Manage SEC filings and ensure compliance with federal securities laws
  • Advise on public and private securities offerings
  • Draft prospectuses, press releases, board consents, and other securities-related documents
  • Provide counsel on various securities compliance matters
  • Build and maintain client relationships through regular interaction
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on complex projects
  • Shape and develop a personalized practice within the securities law field

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in SEC reporting, filings, public and private securities offerings, and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of securities laws and regulations
  • Proven experience in drafting securities-related documents, including prospectuses and board consents
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with clients and internal teams
  • California bar admission required

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Strong academic credentials

Certifications:

  • California bar membership
