Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm based in New York City is seeking a Finance Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project finance and M&A, with fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese being advantageous.

Job Overview:

The Finance Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of finance-related matters, with a focus on project finance and M&A transactions. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.

Duties:

• Assist with project finance transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
• Handle M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting agreements, and closing activities.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients on finance-related matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on finance and M&A issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop strategies and solutions.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in finance-related legal practice.
• Strong background in project finance and M&A transactions.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
