A law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate Attorney for their office in Knoxville, TN.

 

Job Overview:

  • Provide legal representation to clients in court proceedings, including trials and hearings.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to strategize and execute case plans.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare legal documents.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on case-specific issues.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the judiciary.
  • Assist with case management and strategy development.
  • Mentor junior associates and provide guidance on legal matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate or better from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
  • 5+ years of experience in litigation, with a focus on civil litigation preferred.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Must be licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
