Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel with extensive experience in litigation, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The ideal candidate will have a science background and possess superior research, analytical, and writing skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
• A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) must be considered.
• Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• J.D. degree.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
• Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.

Education and Certifications:

• J.D. degree.
• PA Bar admission.
