A law firm located in San Francisco, CA, is currently seeking a Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm. They should have superior writing, research, and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket.

 

Duties:

  • Handle class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters
  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence promptly and efficiently
  • Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work product
  • Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and meetings as needed
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools
  • Previous federal clerkship is a plus
  • Experience with class action defense preferred
  • Superior writing skills

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of California

 

Skills:

  • Superior writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and technology
