A law firm in San Francisco is actively seeking a Mid-Level Complex Litigation Associate Attorney with a strong background in commercial litigation. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex cases, handling various aspects of litigation, and providing strategic legal counsel to clients.

 

Duties:

  • Manage and lead complex commercial litigation cases, overseeing all phases from initiation to resolution.
  • Conduct and supervise discovery processes, ensuring adherence to legal standards and deadlines.
  • Take and defend depositions, demonstrating proficiency in eliciting key information and protecting client interests.
  • Draft precise and compelling pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
  • Coordinate and manage document review processes, leveraging technology and legal support staff effectively.
  • Preferably, represent clients in court proceedings, showcasing strong courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute case strategies.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California Bar or eligibility to promptly obtain admission.
  • Should have some years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on complex litigation.
  • Proven track record in handling commercial litigation cases through all stages.
  • In-court experience preferred, demonstrating effective representation of clients.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and a commitment to excellence in legal practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
