Insurance Defense Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its team in Reno, NV. Duties:

• Handle bodily injury defense, employment, and other insurance defense matters.
• Manage civil cases through trial, including taking depositions, attending oral arguments and hearings, negotiating settlements, and providing thorough client reports.
• Collaborate effectively with legal team members to achieve successful case outcomes.
• Demonstrate exceptional motivation and initiative in case management and client representation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in insurance defense law.
• Prior experience in insurance defense is required.
• Must be highly proficient in handling civil cases through trial.
• Motivated self-starter with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
• Current license to practice law in Nevada; additional licensure in other states is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership is in good standing with the Nevada State Bar; additional state Bar admissions are preferred.
