The Labor Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients on various labor law matters. They will handle labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining negotiations, and other related issues. Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients on labor law matters.
  • Handle labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining negotiations, and union campaigns.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings, hearings, and court trials.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on case management and strategy.
  • Stay updated on developments in labor law and relevant regulations.
  • Attend conferences, seminars, and continuing legal education programs to maintain professional knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence.
  • Meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice during employment.
  • Completed formal studies of labor law.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of labor law/employment law experience.
  • Outstanding academic record preferred.
  • Completion of labor law studies preferred.
