Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its Energy, Environmental, and Natural Resources practice group in Reno, NV. This role focuses on the mining industry, assisting clients with environmental issues, navigating permitting, and defending project approvals and operations.

Duties

• Assist clients with environmental compliance and regulatory matters.
• Support litigation related to environmental and natural resources issues.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to address client needs.
• Engage in project management and client communication.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in environmental and regulatory law.
• Ability to support litigation matters effectively.
• Strong teamwork ethic and critical analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel under pressure and meet demanding schedules.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Nevada or eligibility to waive in.

Skills

• Practical law school experience (law review, moot court, etc.) preferred.
• Judicial clerkship experience is highly desired.
