Patent Agent

Washington DC office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a patent agent with 1-year of experience. The candidate will be involved with a wide variety of work, including patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio management, strategic analysis, client counseling, opinion work, due diligence, agreements, and patent office and federal court litigation and appeals. Relevant industry experience is required. Prior experience in patent prosecution is preferred. Proficiency in Japanese is preferred. Must have an advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (w/ a focus on computer architectures), Mathematics, or a related field. Must have excellent academic credentials. Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
