Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Greenville, SC, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of litigation matters, including case management, legal research, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in court proceedings.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on case-specific issues.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the South Carolina State Bar and good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and time management skills.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the South Carolina State Bar and good standing.
