Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm based in New York City is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on complex business litigation in state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding research capabilities, drafting skills, and experience in various litigation tasks. Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage written discovery processes and participate in large-scale document reviews.
• Take and defend depositions as needed.
• Attend court conferences, hearings, and other proceedings.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on complex business litigation.
• Admission to practice law in New York is required.
• Admission to practice law in New Jersey is preferred.
• Strong research capabilities and drafting skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with exceptional academic and professional credentials.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York bar is required.
• Admission to the New Jersey bar is preferred.
