The Mid to Senior Litigation Associate Attorney will handle a variety of litigation tasks, including conducting discovery, drafting motions, managing e-discovery processes, and collaborating with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies. They should have strong analytical abilities, excellent client-relations skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

Duties:

  • Litigating in both state and federal court
  • Collaborating with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies
  • Conducting discovery, including depositions, document review, and expert witness preparation
  • Drafting and arguing motions
  • Managing e-discovery processes
  • Navigating discovery disputes
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Conducting fact and expert discovery
  • Managing multiple cases and prioritizing tasks and deadlines effectively

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in general commercial litigation
  • Top academic credentials and a J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New York State Bar

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar
