Job Overview: A law firm in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Labor Attorney with a Juris Doctor degree and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in employment/labor law, including handling labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, union campaigns, and similar matters. Duties:

  • Represent clients in labor and employment law matters, including but not limited to labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining negotiations, and union campaigns.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on labor and employment law issues.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment law matters.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, briefs, motions, and contracts related to labor and employment law.
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings related to labor and employment law matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in employment/labor law.
  • Completion of formal studies in labor law preferred.
  • Outstanding academic record preferred.
