Labor Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Labor Attorney with a Juris Doctor degree and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in employment/labor law, including handling labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, union campaigns, and similar matters. The ideal candidate will have completed formal studies in labor law and possess an outstanding academic record.

Duties:

• Represent clients in labor and employment law matters, including but not limited to labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining negotiations, and union campaigns.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on labor and employment law issues.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment law matters.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, briefs, motions, and contracts related to labor and employment law.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings related to labor and employment law matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in employment/labor law.
• Completion of formal studies in labor law preferred.
• Outstanding academic record preferred.
