Duties:

  • Represent lenders and investors in real estate finance transactions, including permanent, construction, and mezzanine loans.
  • Handle acquisitions and dispositions of real estate assets.
  • Negotiate commercial leases for office, retail, warehouse, and industrial properties.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis as necessary to support transactions and client needs.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of real estate finance experience.
  • Experience representing lenders and investors in various real estate finance transactions.
  • Proficiency in closing acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Strong negotiation skills for commercial lease agreements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging environment.
  • J.D. degree (or equivalent) with strong academic credentials.
  • Admitted in (and in good standing with), or taking steps to become admitted in Illinois.

Education and Certifications:

  • J.D. degree (or equivalent).
