Associate Attorney for Louisville office

A law firm in Louisville, KY, is seeking an Associate Attorney who is organized, independent, friendly, and willing to litigate. The ideal candidate should work well with autonomy and possess a Juris Doctorate with admission to the Kentucky Bar.

Duties:

• Handle a caseload from inception through resolution, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trials, and appeals.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client matters.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Kentucky Bar.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with autonomy.
