Associate Attorney needed for Charlotte office

A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney in Charlotte, NC, with the following responsibilities, requirements, and qualifications:

Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will handle personal injury cases, from client intake to trial, including client communication, negotiation, and litigation tasks. They will also oversee paralegals, review medical records, and manage property damage claims.

Duties:

• Conduct client intake and screening processes
• Supervise the paralegal assigned to the case
• Manage property damage claims
• Review medical records and draft demands
• Negotiate claims and maintain client communication
• Handle all aspects of litigation, from filing the Complaint through trial

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admission in good standing with the SC and GA State Bar
• Minimum of 3 years of experience handling personal injury cases
• Prior courtroom experience is required
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient
• Strong multitasking abilities

Certifications:

• Admission in good standing with the SC and GA State Bar

Skills:

• Proficiency with Needles Case Management Software is preferred

Preference will be given to candidates with prior courtroom experience.
