Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City is seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience. The ideal candidate should possess superior written and oral communication skills, outstanding analytical skills, and a strong litigation background within a big law firm setting. The individual must have strong academic credentials, highly developed research skills, the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, a superior work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist in deposition preparation and conduct depositions.
• Participate in case strategy meetings and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations as required.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 2-4 years of experience in litigation, preferably within a big law firm.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.

Education:
