As a Patent Agent, you will work closely with the IP team to draft and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in assisting the IP attorneys in representing clients involved in Patent Office proceedings, patent litigation, and general patent prosecution matters. You'll be responsible for conducting patentability assessments and third-party patent searches, as well as supporting patent diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Your role also includes contributing to patent clearance and enforcement projects.

To excel in this role, you must have patent application drafting and prosecution experience, along with well-developed patent database search skills. You should possess substantive academic and professional knowledge, thriving in a collaborative law firm environment. Your excellent time management skills will be essential in navigating our fast-paced environment. An undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering is a must, and a USPTO registration number is required. An advanced technical degree is preferred.
