The ideal candidate brings a strong background in one or more areas such as commercial litigation, labor and employment, business transactions, or financial services. Duties:

  • Manage and expand an independent caseload in litigation, employment law, transactional work, or financial services

  • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients across various industries

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop innovative legal solutions

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, or negotiations, as applicable

  • Maintain and grow client relationships while upholding the highest professional standards

  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts

  • Ensure timely and effective communication with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience

  • Existing book of business or active client base in at least one of the following areas: litigation, labor & employment, business transactions, or financial services

  • Demonstrated ability to manage legal matters independently and efficiently

  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills

  • Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and drafting

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Nebraska State Bar

  • Admission to the Iowa State Bar is considered advantageous

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • High level of organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities

  • Effective decision-making and sound judgment under pressure

  • Proactive problem-solving capabilities

  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a legal team
