Duties

  • Collaborate with clients to develop tailored legal strategies aligned with their business goals.
  • Research and interpret laws and regulations to ensure client compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including contracts and employment agreements.
  • Advise on corporate legal matters, including entity selection and corporate governance.
  • Provide guidance during mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
  • Manage multiple client matters while maintaining high-quality service.
  • Supervise paralegals and team members as required.
  • Engage in business development and professional organizations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a business and transactional attorney; 10 years preferred.
  • Must be licensed in Nebraska or eligible to become licensed.
  • Other state licenses considered.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Nebraska.
