The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS, and DOJ audits, as well as expertise in handling nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processes, including H1B, L-1, TN, O1, and PERM applications. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional client service, communication skills, case management capabilities, productivity, organizational proficiency, and advanced writing and analytical skills. Experience in managing a sizable client base is considered a valuable asset.

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee business immigration cases, ensuring compliance with I-9 regulations and handling audits from DOL, DHS, and DOJ.
  • Provide expert guidance on nonimmigrant visa categories, including H1B, L-1, TN, O1, and immigrant visa processes, such as PERM applications.
  • Maintain a high level of client service by effectively communicating with clients, providing updates, and addressing inquiries.
  • Demonstrate advanced writing and analytical skills by preparing legal documents, petitions, and correspondences.
  • Efficiently manage a caseload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
  • Stay abreast of changes in immigration laws and policies to provide up-to-date and accurate advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar Association of Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in business immigration law.
  • Proven experience in handling I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS, and DOJ audits.
  • Expertise in nonimmigrant visa categories (H1B, L-1, TN, O1) and immigrant visa processes (PERM applications).
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large client base effectively.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is preferred but not required.
