A law firm in Cleveland is seeking an Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in plaintiff or defense personal injury practice. The role involves investigating case facts, negotiating settlements, maintaining positive relationships, and supervising support staff. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, negotiation expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Duties:

• Investigate case facts and develop damages evidence.
• Negotiate all aspects of case settlements, including lien resolution, where appropriate.
• Maintain positive communication and relationships with clients, opposing attorneys, court personnel, and insurance representatives.
• Work collaboratively with teams to achieve law firm goals.
• Supervise support staff.
• Utilize reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio.
• 2-5 years of experience in plaintiff or defense personal injury practice.
• Insurance defense and/or prior claims handling experience is a major advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office is required.
• Knowledge of Needles case management software is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and overall superior communication and presentation skills.
• Superior negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in the State of Ohio.
