Job Overview

A law firm seeks an attorney to join its Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in labor and employment law, with a strong understanding of federal and state regulations.

Duties

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including interviewing witnesses and reviewing documents.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Interact with clients and opposing counsel.
• Attend court appearances.
• Provide advice on workplace law issues, including wage and hour and employee relations.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in labor and employment law.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including Title VII, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Admission to practice law in California.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
