Mid-to-Senior level Associate needed for Los Angeles office

Job Overview:
A well-established Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking a mid-to-senior level Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead and manage complex litigation matters, supervise junior associates, and work within a collaborative legal environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in transportation law, employment defense, or personal injury defense, and will contribute to the firm's commitment to delivering strategic, results-driven legal representation.

Location:

Duties:

• Manage and litigate cases in transportation law, employment defense, or personal injury defense

• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials

• Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Supervise, mentor, and train junior attorneys and legal staff

• Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses and strategic recommendations

• Collaborate with legal teams to formulate and implement case strategies

• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and co-counsel

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting

• Background in transportation, employment, or personal injury defense law preferred

• Ability to independently manage a full litigation caseload

• Leadership experience and interest in mentoring junior attorneys

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
