Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a talented Finance and Restructuring Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Finance & Restructuring practice. The successful candidate will handle a variety of corporate finance transactions, including working with financial institutions and borrowers. This is a hybrid position with multiple office locations available. The firm is dedicated to providing a full range of legal services to financial institutions, public and private companies, and private credit entities.

Location:

  • Wilmington, DE.

Duties:

  • Work on corporate finance transactions, including loan originations and real estate financings.
  • Draft loan, security, intercreditor, and related documents.
  • Advise on covenant compliance and manage due diligence teams.
  • Lead specialists and manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in restructuring processes for financial institutions, public and private companies, and private credit entities.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in corporate finance, particularly in commercial finance transactions and working with financial institutions.
  • Strong experience in drafting loan agreements, security agreements, intercreditor agreements, and other related legal documents.
  • Proven ability to advise clients on covenant compliance and manage due diligence teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the state bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Experience in corporate finance, including loan origination and real estate financings.
  • Strong drafting skills, particularly in the areas of loan agreements and related legal documents.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple teams and assignments simultaneously.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
