Pre-Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

A premier personal injury law firm with a strong presence in Florida and expanding across the U.S. is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Attorney to join their team in Tampa, FL. The firm has a distinguished history of securing multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements for its clients. As a Pre-Litigation Attorney, you will play a key role in handling personal injury cases through the pre-litigation phase, working closely with clients, negotiating settlements, and leading a team of staff members to ensure efficient case management.

Location:

• Tampa, FL

Duties:

• Supervise and provide direction to a team of staff members

• Evaluate the merits of personal injury cases and provide guidance on whether they should proceed

• Offer legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the pre-litigation phase

• Conduct medical case reviews and legal research

• Perform legal analysis to build strong pre-litigation strategies

• Negotiate and authorize settlements in the pre-litigation stage, ensuring favorable outcomes for clients

• Manage a large caseload efficiently while ensuring high standards of client representation and customer service

Requirements:

• A valid and active license to practice law in Florida (Required)

• At least 2 years of experience with client contact and/or negotiation (Required)

• Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills (Required)

• Ability to handle a significant and active caseload (Required)

• Prioritization of client representation and providing excellent customer service (Required)

• Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills (Required)

• Demonstrated success in providing direction and guidance to staff (Required)

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes effectively (Required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (Required)

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar (Required)
