A law firm is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Construction And Real Estate - Construction Transactions - Major Projects and EPC Contracts in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate should possess 4-6 years of transactional experience in energy, renewable, transportation, and social infrastructure projects. Below is a detailed job description:

Job Overview:

  • Manage and oversee construction transactions related to major projects and EPC contracts.
  • Draft and negotiate EPC contracts, P3 agreements, CMAR agreements, subcontractor and supply agreements, and other commercial contracting and project finance documents.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and standards in all transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on construction-related matters.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to construction projects and contracts.
  • Review and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and transactional documents.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, contractors, and other parties involved in construction projects.
  • Assist in resolving legal disputes and issues arising during construction projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
  • 4-6 years of transactional experience in construction law, preferably in energy, renewable, transportation, and social infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, EPC contracts, and project finance.
  • Excellent writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong academic credentials from a reputable institution.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas is preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
