Mid-level to Senior Liability Attorney

A law firm in Pittsburgh is seeking a Mid-level to Senior Liability Attorney with 4+ years of litigation experience, preferably in motor vehicle and premises liability. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse range of legal matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This role involves managing individual cases, drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, providing strategic legal analysis, and appearing in court as needed.

Job Details:

• Manage a variety of legal matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
• Draft pleadings and legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Provide strategic legal analysis.
• Appear in court as required.
• Experience in drafting pleadings and dispositive motions.
• Answer written discovery.
• Handle oral arguments effectively.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate excellent academic credentials.
• Possess strong research, writing, organization, and analytical skills.
• Hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Experience:

• 4+ years of litigation experience.
• Preferably experienced in motor vehicle and premises liability.
• Ride share litigation experience is a plus.
