Mid-level Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Mid-level Corporate Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, with a specific focus on public company representation. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in public company work and registered equity offerings, including IPOs and follow-on offerings. While experience with life sciences companies is preferred, the firm will also consider candidates with a genuine interest in life sciences work, even if they do not have direct experience. Highly qualified candidates are expected to demonstrate general experience working in collaborative teams and the ability to independently manage substantial components of transactions. The role requires exceptional academic credentials, comparable experience in a law firm, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. MA Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly is a requirement for this position.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, with a particular emphasis on public company representation.
• Handle and assist with registered equity offerings, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.
• Offer legal support to life sciences companies and demonstrate a keen interest in this sector (direct experience is preferred but not mandatory).
• Collaborate effectively within legal teams and independently manage significant aspects of transactions.
• Deliver outstanding written and verbal communication in all aspects of legal work.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Specialized expertise in public company representation, registered equity offerings, and transactional matters.
• Strong interest in or direct experience with life sciences companies (experience preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in legal teams and manage substantial transaction components independently.
• Exceptional academic credentials and a background in a comparable law firm setting.
• Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar or eligibility to obtain such membership promptly.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar or eligibility to obtain such membership promptly.
