Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on various labor and employment matters.
  • Lead and manage complex litigation cases related to labor and employment law.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and ensure federal, state, and local labor laws compliance.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client cases and initiatives.
  • Draft and negotiate various employment-related agreements, including contracts, severance, and non-compete agreements.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Oregon or Colorado Bar is required.
  • Proven track record of generating at least $500,000 in portable business.
  • Experience practicing labor and employment law at a reputable firm.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state labor laws, regulations, and precedents.
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve favorable client outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and interact with clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Membership in the American Bar Association (ABA) or relevant State Bar associations is preferred.

Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
