Job Overview: The Corporate Healthcare Regulatory Attorney will drive strategy and risk mitigation across regulatory and compliance legal issues. They will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure effective risk management and compliance with healthcare regulations. Additionally, they will guide client business teams and leaders in navigating complex legal issues in the healthcare regulatory landscape.

Duties:

  • Drive strategy and risk mitigation for various regulatory and compliance legal issues.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
  • Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with healthcare, dental, and veterinary regulations; interpret and communicate complex legal requirements.
  • Train, educate, and provide strategic guidance to client business teams and leaders on legal issues relating to healthcare regulatory compliance.
  • Offer strategic guidance to client business teams and leaders on navigating complex legal issues related to healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience as an attorney, focusing on healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Must be admitted to the NJ Bar; NY Bar admission is a plus.
  • Strong familiarity with healthcare laws and regulations, particularly concerning the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare policy, and corporate practice doctrines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commercial and business acumen with a track record of delivering creative and pragmatic solutions and advice.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
  • Intrinsically motivated, a self-starter an entrepreneurial mindset, and a proactive and self-directed approach to problem-solving.

Education/Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the NJ Bar: NY Bar admission is a plus.
