A law firm located in Roseland is seeking a seasoned Healthcare Transactional Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an intensive healthcare law environment. The ideal candidate will lead healthcare mergers and acquisitions, focusing on regulatory compliance, contractual negotiations, and various critical aspects of healthcare transactions. This role requires expertise in drafting and negotiating a wide array of corporate and transactional documents across diverse healthcare sectors.

 

Duties:

  • Focus on regulatory compliance, contractual negotiations, and critical aspects of healthcare transactions.
  • Lead healthcare mergers and acquisitions, overseeing joint ventures, partnerships, employment arrangements, management agreements, lease agreements, and related transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate corporate and transactional documents, including operating agreements, management agreements, employment/independent contractor agreements, purchase agreements, leases, and billing services agreements across medical, pharmacy, dentistry, veterinary, and hospital sectors.
  • Stay updated on healthcare laws and regulations, particularly healthcare fraud and abuse (Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute), ERKA, corporate practice of the profession, and fee-splitting laws.
  • Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting software, and document management tools.
  • Handle electronic digital documentation and e-discovery matters.
  • Demonstrate intrinsic motivation, a self-starter mentality, and strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Thrive under pressure, meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Apply strong commercial/business acumen to provide creative and pragmatic solutions and advice.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills, complemented by outstanding academic credentials.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience within an intensive healthcare law environment.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Mandatory Bar admission in NJ; NY admission is a plus.
  • Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, especially in healthcare fraud and abuse, ERKA, corporate practice of the profession, and fee-splitting laws.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:
