A law firm in Walnut Creek is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Attorney with 5+ years of experience to counsel employers on ERISA and non-ERISA plans and arrangements, including retirement and health and welfare plans. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

Duties:

  • Counsel employers on all types of ERISA and non-ERISA plans and arrangements, including retirement plans and health and welfare plans.
  • Provide guidance on plan design, administration, and compliance.
  • Draft and review plan documents, amendments, and other legal documents related to employee benefits.
  • Advise clients on legal and regulatory developments affecting employee benefits.
  • Assist with resolving disputes and claims related to employee benefits.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing as an Employee Benefits Attorney.
  • Strong understanding of ERISA and related regulations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active membership in the State Bar.
