Insurance Attorney

A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking an Insurance Attorney with 3-4 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies, along with excellent academic credentials and superior research and writing abilities.

Duties:

• Analyze insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors' and officers insurance policies.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, opinions, and pleadings.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding insurance coverage matters.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes and commercial litigation matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies.
• Prepare and attend hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
• Keep abreast of developments in insurance law and litigation trends.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Understanding of insurance coverage issues.
• Excellent academic credentials.

• Admission to the State Bar.
